I didn’t know how Class in session
to stop daydreaming Head floating away like a balloon
Teacher yanks it back the ghost note
Dissonance like the lover who leaves
If time is infinite find him
Find the thread of the dream why not walk backwards
like the crab fall in love again
in eons, eras, and fads the lover, walking backward
behind you falls in love with someone else
dissonance in the spheres
when a teacher says
you have the choice between
putting on the blindfold becoming a small adult
serious in the too-bright room of reality
or walk backward ever deeper into the dark sea
you envy the crab’s plenilune
his piracy of time like a woman who ages in reverse
little red matador waving his claw at the sea
at all costs find the thread of the dream
return to the infinite sea
the heart unbreaking
