J. Artemis Mackay (they/them) is a multi-genre writer living in Portland, Oregon. Their creative nonfiction and poetry have been published in Alchemy, Pointed Circle, and The Bellwether Review. Their work plays with boundaries of factual and fictional, incorporating games, jokes, and livening up academic writing. They currently are an MFA creative writing student at Pacific Northwest College of Art.
