She has been a finalist for the Acacia Fiction Prize, the Saguaro Poetry Prize, and the Tiny Fork Chapbook Contest. In addition, she received a Pushcart Prize nomination in 2022.
 
She teaches creative and expository writing at Hunter College/CUNY
