or textbooks on physics for poets

the crunch of gravel


the scratch of correspondence

pages crying out memory turn the world


with garden beer and paper tongues

stepping late into the dark


drunk on honey and love

i swear you had a fruit tree in your yard


the moon

a crown dipped in silver applause
