After the Death of W.S. Merwin
00:00 / 00:30

the only crow

flies down to the gravel lot

to drink

from the dark pool at my feet

and to lower its head

and speak

to the water

with his simplest voice

with his last tool

as though there were some

understanding

between him

and his own reflection

between him

and his own language
